SK Custom Stone Carving by Sean P. Klinksiek, is a small full service custom stone carving, and sculpture studio located in the Texas Hill Country north of San Antonio. We specialize in functional stone artwork including entryways, fireplace mantels and surrounds, natural wine storage, garden ornamentation and other home decor. Sean also sculpts in clay and bronze using the lost wax method.

From conception and design, to construction and maintenance, he can work directly with you to create the perfect custom piece. Sean Klinksiek studied art under local San Antonio artist Jacob Pope before majoring in art at Missouri Valley College in Marshall, MO. After college Sean apprenticed under his Great Uncle, master stone mason and stone carver, Mason "Bubba" Hunt in San Antonio, TX. During this apprenticeship Sean learned the fundamentals of stone carving from a true master of the subject. Sean has been on his own in the stone carving business under the business name Sean Rocks Custom Carving since 2004. Sean works out of Bulverde, TX, where he lives with his wife, three children, and two dogs. Sean's work can be seen at fine art shows and festivals through out the nation.
Sean is comfortable carving any type of workable natural stone, but prefers to work in native Texas limestone, New Mexico travertine, and Colorado marble. You can view the gallery here to see many different styles of Sean's art.
